2025 Celebration Highlights

We have thrilling news for the 126th Annual Deuce of August Icelandic Celebration! We are excited to welcome two Icelandic male choirs to perform a concert at our 2025 celebration!  If you’ve never heard an Icelandic male choir, prepare for an unforgettable experience!

 

 Here are the exciting details: Icelandic Choirs Karlakór Hreppamanna and Sprettskórinn are planning a concert trip to join us in August 2025.  With over 40 members each, they’ll unite as one choir of around 70 singers! Karlakór Hreppamanna comes from the countryside of Árnessýsla, while Sprettskórinn, founded over 30 years ago, hails from Kópavogur. The youngest member is 17, and the oldest is about 80, creating a vibrant mix of talent. Get ready for an incredible musical journey!
